Varsity soccer starts strong strong with 3-0 record

The Streaks won their first three games of the season at home.

“We’ve been working pretty hard, and I think that with more effort and motivation we’ll be able to improve each game,” captain Gaby Caudel said. “But it’s going to be a tough a season because we’re in a high level division.”

In the game against Roosevelt on March 17 , the score was tied 0-0 until the final few minutes of the second half when senior Gaby Caudel scored on a penalty shot.

The Streaks also won 1-0 on March 18, beating Foreman with a goal by freshman Yannaly Alvarenga, assisted by freshman Lesly Paredes.

Prosser also fell victim to the Streaks on March 21. The Streaks won 2-0 with goals were scored by Gaby on another penalty kick and sophomore Virgen Panfilo, assisted by Gaby.
