“I feel that at Steinmetz I was able to connect to many programs such as Bottomline or After School Matters that I didn’t know about with the help of my teachers and counselors. Also, teachers at Steinmetz look out for their students and how you are doing. For example,  taking Ms. Buckmaster’s psychology class last year made me realize how much a teacher looks out for her students. Last year I took a dual enrollment class for psychology and Ms. Buckmaster made sure that I did well in both her class and the one at Wright. She helped me do homework and guided me through any quizzes that I had to take home. I truly appreciated her as not only a teacher but a mentor as well.

“I like the fact that Steinmetz is a very diverse school, spirit week, and some of the teachers who have good personalities and really push their students to succeed. For example, Mr. Ochoa, and Mr. Javier are helpful and engage with the students, they really hear you out to what your have to say, Each year you find yourself maturing when you have to shut down some plans just to be dedicated to your school work. Of course there are some fun school events in between.”
