The pep rally featured all the fall sports teams – boys and girls cross country, girls swimming, football, 16-inch softball, boys soccer and girls volleyball – as well as dancers and cheerleaders. Audience members raved about the cheerleaders, who are better than ever with new captains, seniors Katera Goldman and Chiya Loyd.

“Thank you to everyone who helped out with the pep rally this year, especially all of the coaches and sponsors who worked with their kids for the rally and all season long,” athletic director Robin Russo wrote in an email to school staff. She thanked Claudio Mendrano, Mike Edwards, Gina Szulkowski, Roseann Mark, Jennifer Bates, as well as football coaches Angel DeJesus, Will Daugherty and Coach Munoz, who led the Silver Streaks to a 37-6 win over Foreman High School at Hanson Stadium.
