Although the Streaks have had a tough season, Coach Brad Dowling can point to some positives, including his standout players of the season – senior Miguel Tapia (pictured on senior night) and sophomore Rahman “Rocky” Ukoja.

Q: How’s the season?
A: Up and down and good and bad games.
Q: Any disappointments?
A: Consistencies, and slow games.
Q: Any surprises?
A: Sophomore Rahman “Rocky” Ukoja’s shooting got better and the balance of the team, and different players led the team during games.
Q: What players would you like to highlight?
A: Paris Glispie, Miguel Tapia, Rocky Ukoja.
Q: Any challenges?
A: Being comfortable with news offense, good chemistry, and turnovers.
Q: How long have you been coaching?
A: This is my 13th year at Steinmetz, but 20 years over all.
Q: Any goals?
A: Make sure this season is a winning season, and continue to get better, development for freshman and sophomores, offense and defense needs to improve, and not as many turnovers.

Q: Highlights to the season?
A: Lots of potential for upcoming seasons.
Q: How are you doing this year compared to last year?
A: Our record isn’t as it was last year but the players are like family to me.
Q: How is your ankle, we hear you had an injury?
A: I’m recovering, but it gets sore sometimes.
Q: How long have you been playing basketball?
A: Six years all together.
Q: What do you do on your free time?
A: Play basketball.
Q: How do you handle stress?
A: By playing basketball or going to the gym.
Q: What do you like about basketball?
A: It relieves my stress.
Q: Are you going to college?
A: Yes, but I don’t know which one yet. I hope to play in college.
Q: What position do you play?
A: Forward and center
